After serving a nine-month solitary confinement sentence in a womb with a view, David Taylor was allowed out on good behaviour. His first camera was one of those crappy point and shoot devices that should not be issued to children under the age of ten. He was nine years old and the resulting pictures were shocking (or extremely awesome modern art - depending on what mood you are in)

During his 3 year Media Qualification back in 2004, David fell in love with Canon's EOS 300D. He switched majors to ensure that Photo-journalism was part of his final year subjects. Shortly after graduation David purchased his own camera - a Canon EOS 350D. After being imprisoned at an online media company, David decided to go it alone.

Since 2008 he has been shooting and writing professionally as a freelancer. David is accredited by the South African Guild of Motoring Journalists and has done work for both high profile corporates and small clients. When he isn’t behind a camera or behind the wheel, David can be found at the local race tracks as well as supporting Arsenal FC in the company of friends.
